A Father's Perspective

It is Feb 27th and Amy is over the half way point of her pregnancy now. I can say that she has been a trooper so far. I don't really get to many requests from her to go run out and get her outrageous foods she has cravings for. She does sleep a lot and lay around but, that isn't too much of a difference for her. LOL. I will say that my evening meals have suffered though, she used to come home with a bag full of groceries every other day with new recipes to cook, but that has been put on hold for now. I try and cook for us, which I must say is pretty good, but we tend to go eat out more often. As far as looks go, she hasn't really gained to much in areas other than her stomach. She looks great for being 5 1/2 months pregnant. I'm getting more excited now because when I look at her I can see the bump. Other than that we are trying to finish up painting the nursery because we have purchased the funiture for the nursery and it might be in next week. I always wondered what this fatherhood thing was going to be like? I think it is going to be pretty cool. Everyone that I talk to about being a parent says the exact same thing, "It's a life changing event, you'll love it!" We guess we'll find out on July 1st. Seacrest out..

Congratulations!!!

Kevin and I want to congratulate my cousins Brian and Amandine on the birth of their new son, August Jacob! He was born February 15 at 2:17 am, 7lbs 10oz, 21 inches.

20 Weeks, half way!

Well I have made it to the half way mark! I am still feeling great, just can't wait for the weather to break so I can finally get outside. After waiting, I finally felt the baby move last night and ever since can feel him moving constantly. Kevin even was able to feel him push on my belly. We are really excited!
